Forena™ By Nucraft Isn’t Just For Storage

In multi-use meeting spaces where work and entertainment go hand-in-hand, consoles are required to offer more than simple storage. With the Forena™ suite of credenzas, storage is only the beginning.

With a desire to bring premium residential furniture qualities to the modern workplace, Nucraft enlisted Joseph Jeup through his residential point of view to design the Forena suite of credenzas. No stranger to Nucraft, Jeup also designed the popular Preston table and Talis consoles.

Says Jeup, “The concept around Forena was a gathering space. It has all the utility you need when getting together as a group, but it is disguised as a beautiful piece of furniture.”

Forena is offered in four styles —three different height credenzas and a Media Island—each nuanced for various workspaces. Adding to its residential appeal are exclusive finish and hardware options for the credenza suite. Vertical pulls that resemble jewelry adorn each version of the four-piece collection, unique veneer layups, and a durable high shine lacquer finish make for a beautiful and luxurious design.

Forena Conference height and Buffet height credenzas have two different base options: a standard plinth base or a new cross blade base. They are also equipped with options for refrigeration, trash/recycling, shelving, slide-out equipment storage, and AV accommodations. No matter the height of the credenza you chose, Forena offers all the interior options required for a formal meeting space, but meticulously concealed behind an elegant case.

Adding a more informal counterpart to the Buffet and Conference height credenza is the Low Credenza. The Low Credenza is perfect for community and creative spaces that center around a monitor. Standing at 25” high the Low Credenza stores tech equipment with sliding shelves for ease and accessibility. The available upholstered cushions offer additional seating making the credenza not only a place to store items, but also a gathering place.

Rounding out the quartet of designs is the Media Island, a new concept of furniture. At first glance, the Media Island appears to be a simple coffee table, but after further exploration, it’s so much more. Great for community and creative spaces alike, the media island boasts exterior power for easy device charging. A cooler drawer on one side of the island reveals chilled beverage storage, perfect for long brainstorming sessions. The opposite side of the island features sound bar storage with an additional cabinet below suited for storing conferencing technology when not in use. Stunning glass shelves flank each side of the island allowing for the display of books and accessories. Similar to the Low Credenza, upholstered cushions can be added to both sides of the island for additional seating.

The Forena Collection will be available this December. Learn more about forena by visiting https://www.nucraft.com/products/forena/ and join the mailing list here to stay up to date on upcoming product launches.
