Thinkspace to launch Nugget modular seating collection at Neocon 2024
Thinkspace is dedicated to bringing fun back to U.S. workspaces. And this year, at Neocon 2024, the company will take another step in fulfilling that goal with the North American introduction of the dynamic Nugget modular soft seating system.
Created by the visionary Finnish designers Ivar Gestranius and Kevin Lahtinen of LoOok Industries, Nugget marries sleek aesthetics with practical innovation. The system is reconfigurable and can easily grow to add screens, tables and shelves easily with minimal interruption. The result is furniture that ignites creativity and adaptability, empowering interior designers and architects to marry functionality with flair.
It’s furniture worthy of awards, which is why Nugget has been entered in the Best of Neocon 2024 competition, which recognizes exceptional new products from show exhibitors, and the 11th annual Interior Design HiP awards, which spotlight the products and people pushing boundaries and defining the future of design at Neocon. The system has been chosen as a HiP award finalist.
“Nugget is really an exciting, simple fun modular seating system, only with 3 base models including a chair, sofa, corner chair, and 2 screen sizes you can design endless configurations. Add-ons include an eclectic mix of fabric screens, metal mesh lacquered screens, shelves, coffee tables, and side tables. You can easily create fun seating configurations and private acoustic nooks which are high in demand,” said Sid Meadows, Principal/Vice President of Thinkspace.
With its fully sprung seat and offering enhanced lower back support, Nugget provides the comfort and relaxation of a home product, while meeting the demands of contract furniture.
The system is extremely flexible. It lets designers and architects choose the look and configuration that suits their style and environment. Whether you’re channeling sleek modernism or timeless elegance, Nugget’s reconfigurable design promises infinite possibilities to cater to your unique vision and brand identity. Optional casters can be added for increased mobility.
“Neocon attendees will love this simple, yet smart system. It’s comfortable and attractive – it really takes modular seating systems to a new level. It gives American designers the freedom to curate both simplistic and elaborate arrangements, so that every nook and cranny of the workspace exudes sophistication and productivity,” said Sid Meadows.
It also offers something rare in today’s modular seating world: privacy. Optional acoustic privacy screens, complete with an ingenious x-hanger are available for added convenience. Need a spot to hang your coat, an assortment of bowling pins tethered by a leather string, or perhaps your vintage Captain America ensemble? Look no further than Nugget’s thoughtfully crafted screens, available in both large and small sizes.
Nugget allows for easy mixing and matching, too, seamlessly adapting to the evolving needs of contemporary workspaces, from lounges to chill-out areas, bars, and cafés.
“We feel privileged to introduce this level of fun, modular, configurable seating to an American audience,” Anjul Chandi, Principal/CEO of Thinkspace said. “People are really going to love Nugget.”
