New Calibrate® Executive Floating Height Adjustable Desk Offered by AIS Elevates the Private Office
Next Generation Desk Provides Ergonomic Support and Streamlined, Upscale Features
AIS announces the newest offering in the expansion of its Calibrate line of casegoods, the Calibrate Executive Floating Height Adjustable Desk. This next generation executive desk brings a modern design aesthetic with ergonomic comfort to the private office. This sit-to-stand desk supports posture shifts throughout the day while maintaining the upscale look and feel that corporate leaders expect.
Available in a straight or L configuration, the Calibrate Executive Floating Height Adjustable Desk takes private offices to new heights with simplified beauty at the touch of a button. An optional modesty panel moves in sync with the worksurface and seamlessly nests within the desk when lowered for a clean, impactful design. Left- and right-handed fixed height return options accommodate personal preferences and office configurations.
Supporting Health, Convenience, and Aesthetics
Other convenience-centered features that busy executives will appreciate include two or three base options with integrated storage, a wire management channel to contain the height adjustable table cords, and an enclosed power mechanism providing a clean sightline and helping to keep knee space tidy and optimal.
According to Bill Stewich, the company’s executive vice president of design and innovation, “We gave thought to every detail, testing and refining every aspect of this new desk to ensure it was fine-tuned to exacting standards. We believe that our customers will agree as its features, performance, and aesthetic appeal will beautifully serve the executive office for years to come.”
Engineered for user-friendly operation, the electronic adjustment with soft start/stop and four memory presets also offers soft collision technology that halts and retracts when the desk surface meets resistance.
A Wide Range of Finish Choices Enable Design Freedom
The desk is available in all AIS laminates, accommodating shared finishes throughout the product portfolio and allowing the Executive Floating Height Adjustable Desk to blend effortlessly with other AIS solutions. Specifiers may choose a different laminate selection for drawer fronts, the case (which includes the casegood storage cases and modesties), and the worksurface(s) creating a unique desk to accentuate an executive workspace.
Designers will appreciate the choice of black, metallic silver, or satin white for the height adjustable legs and mechanism. Pulls are available in the five AIS options: bar, L, loop, rectangular, and slim in any paint color. Lock options include silver and black with surfaces available in 2mm or knife edge. A no lock option also exists.
