NARBUTAS Maintained Stable Sales in 2025 and Plans a Major Wave of New Product Launches in 2026
NARBUTAS, the Lithuanian office furniture manufacturer celebrating its 35th anniversary, has announced its results for 2025 and shared its outlook for 2026. The company ended the year with stable turnover, with revenue remaining at a level similar to 2024.
Given the current geopolitical and economic uncertainty, the company’s goal for 2026 is to maintain turnover at the same level. NARBUTAS products, manufactured in Lithuania, are sold in more than 60 countries worldwide.
Stable sales performance in 2025
NARBUTAS closed 2025 with stable sales results. The company reached a turnover of EUR 164.7 million in 2025, compared to EUR 168 million in 2024.
The 2% decrease in turnover is considered a strong result, especially in light of external factors that affected the business environment throughout the year, including rising tariffs in the United States, economic challenges in Germany, and political instability in France.
The company attributes its stable performance to a quick response to changing conditions, with strong focus placed on cost management and proactive communication with clients.
In 2025, EBITDA increased by 3%. According to preliminary estimates, EBITDA reached EUR 18.5 million, compared to EUR 17.9 million in 2024. The goal for 2026 is to maintain both sales and EBITDA at the 2025 level.
At the end of 2025, NARBUTAS employed 1,615 people in Lithuania and 1,664 worldwide.
New factory project in the development phase
In 2024, NARBUTAS and the Ministry of the Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania signed an agreement for a major investment project, under which the company plans to build a new factory.
The new factory is planned to be built next to the existing 67,000 sq. m factory in Ukmergė, Lithuania.
In 2025, most of the work focused on the development and engineering of the new factory site, the building and related infrastructure, as well as the technologies and equipment that will operate in the new facility.
The project will continue into 2026, as the planned production complexity and the company’s targets for quality standards and automation require non-standard engineering solutions. Preliminary construction works could begin in the first quarter of 2027.
Key markets: Europe and the United States
In 2025, NARBUTAS’ largest export markets were the United Kingdom, France, Germany, the United States and Belgium. The fastest growth was recorded in Southern Europe, particularly Spain and Italy, followed by Switzerland and the Netherlands.
The company’s global competitiveness is driven by its broad and relevant product portfolio, fast and high-quality manufacturing, strong design, competitive pricing, and—particularly in the US—an exceptionally high level of customer service.
In 2026, NARBUTAS plans to introduce a significant number of new collections, further expanding its product range.
Most NARBUTAS products are developed in collaboration with designers from Europe and the United States. One of the most anticipated launches of 2026 will be a collection created together with a world-renowned architecture company from the United States.
International recognition and prestigious design awards
NARBUTAS continues to showcase its products at major international trade fairs. In 2026, the company plans to participate in the leading office furniture exhibitions in Europe and the United States: NeoCon in Chicago in June, and Orgatec in Cologne, Germany in October.
NARBUTAS products are also recognised through leading international design awards. In 2025, the company received the iF Design Award, the Red Dot Design Award and the German Design Award.
NARBUTAS products can be experienced in person at the company’s showrooms located in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Poland and Lithuania. In total, the company operates 13 showrooms worldwide.
Bronze rating in EcoVadis sustainability rankings
Sustainability remains one of NARBUTAS’ key strategic priorities. In the globally recognised EcoVadis sustainability ratings, the company has been awarded a Bronze medal.
As of early 2026, 92.3% of the Narbutas International vehicle fleet consisted of electric vehicles.
Support for communities and charitable initiatives
NARBUTAS continues to support a wide range of organisations and social initiatives. In 2025, the company provided support to more than 20 organisations, including several in Ukraine, such as a school in Bucha and a hospital in Lviv. The company also supported the Lithuanian NGO Blue/Yellow (Mėlyna ir Geltona).
In 2025, non-monetary donations totalled over EUR 100,000.
