My Resource Library Celebrates Successful Delve Series: Workplace Event in Chicago, IL
An immersive experience connecting 32 leading interior designers and brand partners for an intimate exploration of the future of workplace design.
My Resource Library proudly hosted its latest Delve Series: Workplace event in Chicago, Illinois, bringing together 32 interior designers from across the country, including professionals from the A&D community, dealer design firms, and end-user design teams; for a 2.5-day experience dedicated to discovery, connection, and inspiration.
The event embodied the Delve Series’ purpose: to create intentionally intimate, designerfocused gatherings that move beyond traditional tradeshows and foster meaningful dialogue between design professionals and industry partners.
The event began at the 21C Museum Hotel, where attendees were welcomed with a heartfelt message from Laura Carlson, Director of Brand Partnerships & Advertising at My Resource Library, who encouraged guests to “lean in, be present, and enjoy the camaraderie of being among peers who care deeply about design and its power to make a difference.”
Opening keynote speaker Darleen Santore, Board-Certified Therapist and Mental Conditioning Coach, set the tone for the weekend with an inspiring video session on mindset, purpose, and creativity.
That evening, participants gathered for the Progressive Networking Dinner, a hallmark of the Delve Series. Moving through multiple venues, designers and sponsors connected in a relaxed and engaging setting that encouraged authentic conversation and collaboration.
Monday’s sessions were hosted throughout theMART, where attendees took part in smallgroup speed meetings, an accredited BIFMA CEU presentation presented by BIFMA, and an additional CEU presentation on Designing for Neurodiversity presented by Global Furniture Group.
Roundtable discussions hosted in manufacturer showrooms offered a rich opportunity for dialogue, discovery, and meaningful connection between designers and brand representatives.
On Tuesday, the group explored Fulton Market, starting with breakfast and a showroom tour at Fellowes, followed by an engaging panel discussion moderated by Jennifer Wammack of BIFMA, and concluding with a motivational session, “The Power of YOU,” presented by Aaron Estabrook in the OFS new showroom.
Throughout the three days, the event fostered an environment of collaboration, curiosity, and creativity. All are hallmarks of the Delve Series mission.
The Chicago edition was made possible by the generous sponsorship and participation of leading manufacturers who opened their showroom doors and shared their insights, including showrooms in both theMART and Fulton Market.
As one attendee shared following a previous Delve event:
“The intimate scale was awesome for fostering connections amongst the reps and designers. Everything ran so smoothly!” Amy Green, Emersion Design
“Delve Series was definitely one of the most engaging and insightful experiences I’ve had so I’m really glad I got to be a part of it.” Esmeralda Vargas, HDR
These reflections continue to affirm the Delve Series as a platform where design professionals can learn, connect, and recharge their passion for the industry.
