In Q4 2020, the Making Privacy Simple (MPS) leadership team agreed that it was time to evolve the brand and positioning of the company. Historically, MPS is a successful sound masking company with a strong technical focus on white-noise solutions for workplaces. Like many organizations during the pandemic, MPS was forced to re-evaluate the business model, product lines, marketing, etc. In short, everything was on the table. During this time, MPS began to develop the smaller, but growing, acoustic baffle and panel segment of the business, and started to see immediate growth.

“We needed to strengthen the company by diversifying our product offerings and move fast,” said Andy Vawter, SVP of Sales & Operations. With this as the backdrop, the company launched a dozen new acoustic panel products, patterns, and new colors. Vawter continued “We had offered panels for a few years now, and the results of this additional focus signaled that it was the right move.”

Based on this success, MPS launched a branding initiative in January of 2021 to uniquely position the company as a leader in both sound masking technology and acoustic panel design. “It was time to tell our story to the AV community, commercial furniture industry, architects, and designers in a totally new way,” said Frank Barnett, VP of Marketing at MPS. With deep roots in sound masking, MPS is perfectly positioned to pair this expertise with beautiful panel designs that help reduce unwanted noise and improve the overall acoustics of virtually any environment.

The all-new MPS brand reflects the company’s commitment to design – elegant, refined, precise, and fun. This rebrand is more than just a new website; it’s an outward update of the passion and expertise that its employees have embraced for years. Every panel is designed and made in Texas at the company’s fabrication facility.
