Dublin, October 2026. Kingspan today announced the completed acquisition of Unika Vaev, a United States designer and supplier of decorative acoustic solutions for commercial interiors. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1975, Unika Vaev began as a source of design-led contract textiles and, since 2013, has built a reputation among interior designers and specifiers for decorative acoustic products chosen as much for how they look as for how they perform. The company serves the North American market through a national network of independent sales representatives and will continue to operate from Connecticut under its existing leadership team.

Kingspan Acoustics is the dedicated acoustics business of Kingspan Group, bringing together specialist acoustic brands including Troldtekt, which has manufactured cement-bonded wood wool acoustic panels in Denmark since 1935. The addition of Unika Vaev extends the business into the North American design and specification market and broadens the range of acoustic materials it can offer architects and specifiers.
