From our beginnings in 1876, rooted in the natural hardwood forests of Southern Indiana, nature provided for the immigrants who began what is now known as JSI today. The nature around us still provides us with inspiration to continue our journey onward while being keenly aware of the significance this region’s influence has on our identity.

We liken this identity as our “terroir” – our connection to the soil, the climate, the topography, and the tradition. We celebrate these characteristics in honoring nature and being captivated by its beauty as inspiration for this materials portfolio refresh. While this process has been a multi-phase project, the culmination has resulted in a materials portfolio that is a dynamic transformation bringing you a fresh and vibrant palette to inspire your projects. With extensive research of trends and emerging styles, we refreshed our palette to offer beautiful grain patterns and colorways. Erica Neukam, Senior Interior Designer and project lead for this refresh adds, “We understood the many different needs and wants for a project of this caliber. We wanted a palette that was both useful, being able to stretch across much of the JSI portfolio as well as inspirational, for those looking for more unique and interesting colors/materials.”
