Iron Age Office participates in the 10th Annual IIDA Zero Landfill event!
Zero Landfill is an annual event whose mission is to repurpose discarded materials that are often found in material libraries across our industry. These forgotten and unused samples quickly pile up, leading to unnecessary waste. Zero Landfill aims to change that by upcycling these materials and giving them new life within our community.
This unique event opens its doors to the public, offering full access to these once-discarded materials at zero cost. The impact of this endeavor is significant, as these materials can now serve as valuable resources for educators and non-profit associations. Additionally, they also provide a blank canvas for artists and crafters to unleash their creativity and transform these once discarded materials into unique works of art.
For the 10th year, IIDA Georgia partnered with Wilsonart, OfficeWorks, & Choate Construction to bring the ZeroLandfill event to Atlanta.
As a proud contributor, Iron Age Office wholeheartedly donates, volunteers, and actively participates on the committee for this amazing cause. We extend an invitation to everyone, urging them to volunteer, donate, shop, or all 3! Together, we can make a difference and be a part of creating a more sustainable and resourceful future.
Event Details:
Donation Days: Wednesday August 8th and Friday August 11th from 3-6 pm
Shopping: Saturday, August 12th from 8am-1pm
