Falcon Celebrates Their 55th NeoCon with a Powerful List of New Products
Since Chicago hosted the first NeoCon at the Mart in 1969, the CFGroup brands have participated. There are few vendors with the history the CFGroup has at the Mart. To mark the occasion, they plan to show many new products. This year they will show products from all brands – Falcon, Thonet, Shelby Williams, and Howe. Howe is located in space 10-110. The others are in space 11-111.
As workplace and education clients continue to focus on collaborative spaces, Falcon and Thonet continue to lead innovation in this area with key products in the Productive Lounge sector as well as booths, modular seating, and durable aluminum seating with faux wood grain finishes called Tufgrain.
For upscale applications, Falcon is introducing their newest line of productive lounge seating, Paddington. This line offers bolstered horizonal channels that create visual interest as well as ergonomic support. Paddington is available in single or double configurations as well as built to fit wall benches, with or without arms. According to Marta Meverden, Marketing and Communications Manager, “The demand for upscale upholstery detail continues to grow. Paddington takes what would typically be thought of as special order and makes it a standard product for us.”
Figuro, designed by Dorsey Cox, is a modular concept that makes it possible to create a solitary workspace with the same furniture as a large highly collaborative space. The collection combines unique angles with more typical furniture footprints creating visual impact in the
space. Figuro is large in scale and meant to be comfortable for extended periods of time. The collection is made up of eight standard pieces including angles, arms, table, and more.
Apex is another Dorsey Cox design. Whether learning, meeting, or eating, the Apex table collection will fit your needs. Manufactured in the US, the product boasts clean lines and light weight making it easy to reconfigure. The product can be made with different types of tops and virtually any powder coat color. Apex pairs well with Falcon’s Sedera collection of chairs and stools.
Petalo is Falcon’s most environmentally sensitive chair design to date. The chairs are constructed of steel tubing with certi-PUR foam, a material free of any red listed chemicals. The chair’s unique sock-on upholstery design allows every component to be disassembled and recycled at the end of its life. Petalo is available as a steel 4-leg or sled base or for upscale environments, a wood leg is also available.
Other key products across the space include new Tufgrain faux wood grain aluminum dining, café, and lounge chairs, and new counter and barstool styles.
Falcon has recently engaged in a new partnership with Italian wood chair designers expanding their selection with fresh, leading edge wood chair designs. The grouping of five styles ranges from minimalist café designs to beautiful club chairs appropriate for any upscale environment.
