Enwork announced today it has acquired Ergo Contract Furniture, a California-based office furniture manufacturer. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. “This is a very important acquisition for our continued growth” said David Powell, CEO of Enwork.

Ergo Contract’s products, personnel, and established dealer network will be fully integrated into Enwork’s business. Mark Denham and Lea Goldenring, former owners of Ergo Contract, will remain a key part of the business, focusing on new product development and sourcing for Enwork. Operations in Union City, California, will be maintained as Enwork’s west coast Distribution Center for quick ship and Will Call sales opportunities, with expanded inventory to include select GridTM and eBenchTM workstations components.
