BioFit Names New Production Manager
Bowling Green, OH – October 21, 2024 – BioFit Engineered Products, an Ohio-based manufacturer and long-standing leader in the development of ergonomic seating solutions for global markets, announced that Anthony Pescara was recently selected as the company’s new production manager. In this role, Pescara will be responsible for ensuring manufacturing objectives are reached through his expertise in operational oversight and lean manufacturing methodologies, technical acumen and leadership skills.
Tony Pescara has over 35 years of progressive experience with multiple companies, primarily in manufacturing operations management. Past employers included internationally recognized automotive parts leaders Bridgestone APM, FCA Toledo Assembly, Cooper Standard, and Clarios, a.k.a. Johnson Control. His background is marked by significant time leading large teams ranging from 140 to 240 engineers, technicians, operators, and support associates. He holds degrees in Manufacturing Engineering and Engineering Technology from the University of Toledo, and subsequently obtained an MBA from the university. He also traveled to Japan to study manufacturing. Tony is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt and is highly skilled in Lean Principles.
