Karen Michalakos Joins Fluidconcepts as Territory Manager
Toronto, ON – [October 2025] — Fluidconcepts is pleased to announce the appointment of Karen Michalakos as Territory Manager, bringing more than 25 years of experience in business development, sales, and client relations to the team. In this newly expanded role, Karen will lead the growth of Fluidconcepts’ dealer channel across Canada, focusing on dealer acquisition, enablement, and relationship management.
Karen’s deep understanding of the contract furniture and A&D community, paired with her ability to foster trust and collaboration, makes her a natural fit for this position. She will play a key role in identifying and onboarding highpotential dealers, developing training and support programs to accelerate success, and building long-term partnerships that align with Fluidconcepts’ values of innovation, design, and integrity.
Karen began her career at Kenaidan Contracting Ltd., where she spent 13 years as a Business Development Representative, supporting the growth of major construction and infrastructure projects. Her ability to listen, adapt, and deliver customized solutions quickly established her as a respected professional and trusted partner.
She later joined Interface Flooring, where she spent another 13 years as an Account Executive, managing key accounts and driving sales across the A&D, Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Education markets. Known for her consultative approach and attention to detail, Karen developed a reputation for balancing design intent with performance and value, while nurturing longstanding client relationships.
Now at Fluidconcepts, Karen will leverage her extensive experience and strong national network to expand market reach, strengthen dealer performance, and showcase Fluidconcepts’ customizable, design-forward solutions across Canada.
