Falcon Soars Into NeoCon 2022 With New Products to Support the Productive Lounge Space
What is a productive lounge?
According to Falcon, it is one of the most important trends emerging in the workplace. As corporations and workers continue to take a hybrid approach to work, the community space is the center of the office: a place where people can meet, collaborate, create and relax. Doing all these activities in a typical chair or sofa can become counterproductive quickly because they are not ergonomically designed for work. They are often too soft or pitched in a way that it fails to support active engagement.
Falcon is pleased to introduce our newest collection of Productive Lounge furniture, Westbury: a line of banquette seating that can be as standard or as custom as the application requires. Since it is sold by the inch, the product will help maximize space in the facility. The complete line offers a range of seat heights from lounge to standing height. Its straight or curved units help divide space and create zones scaled for different sized groups. All Westbury designs have integrated power options to keep people charged.
The Productive Lounge is not just about soft seating. Falcon is also pleased to introduce Sedera, designed by Studio Omega. Sedera is a complete line of seating including 4-leg, sled base, barstool, counter stool, lab and drafting stools. The line’s chairs stack up to 35 high on a dolly for easy reconfiguration and storage. Sedera is available in ten durable polypropylene colors with a choice of contrasting or matching powder coat colors for the legs. New styles feature wood seat and back options, with or without tailored upholstery. Casters and tablet arm options make this an excellent choice for training or learning applications.

The Riverside collection brings Productive Lounge outdoors. Falcon’s new Riverside booth features clean lines with an industrial look that is comfortable for eating, working, socializing, or relaxing. It is suitable for use indoors as well to help keep design flowing throughout the workplace. The outdoor table features a knife edge and choice of two durable textured UV grade powder coat colors.
The Ascent collection, which debuted at NeoCon 2021, is still fresh. The show is a great opportunity to demo how one person can lift and store a 120-inch table all by themselves. Ascent is available in rectangular, round and boat shape configurations, as well as training tables.
Falcon will also show new Tufgrain seating. This state-of-the-art faux wood grain finish is the perfect solution for high use areas such as senior living. The company has converted classic wood chair designs and interpreted them in extruded aluminum to create durable, lightweight furniture. The faux wood grain is available in eight true wood tones.
“One of our goals at Falcon is to design flexible, functional and fun solutions for productive lounges, commons and café spaces,” Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Steve Cohen said. “Teaming the Sedera collection with our new Productive Lounge designs is a great way to achieve a coordinated design aesthetic which is both flexible and functional.” See all new styles at our permanent showroom space Suite 11-111, Merchandise Mart Plaza.
