“Apollo” is a medical performance grade, silicone coated upholstery fabric that meets the most stringent demands of commercial interiors without the addition of flame retardants, antibacterial and antimicrobial chemicals or surface topcoats and finishes. Apollo is inherently resistant to bacteria, mildew, moisture, stain and ink, bleach, alcohol, oils, and denim dye transfer.

Since it is formulated and produced without added chemicals, Apollo complies with Prop 65, Healthier Hospital Initiative, HPD, RoHS, and REACH as well as other environmental and safety standards. Additionally, SiO™, the silicone resin system in Mayer’s “Apollo,” utilizes a proprietary technology that enhances resistance to scuffing, scratching and abrasive cleaners. Apollo’s advanced technology also gives it a soft hand and a natural surface touch making it more comfortable to sit on than other silicone fabrics. Apollo’s polyester substrate (backing) controls its stretch and recovery thus contributing to its excellent stability and tailor ability.
