Thonet | This collection honors Thonet’s early 20th century innovations in tubular steel furniture with an entirely new array of seating, tables, storage units and shelving. Thonet’s Modern Heritage Collection builds on the distinctive influence of Marcel Breuer, Mart Stam and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe to create fresh, original furniture that retains the airy aesthetic of these classics, while using innovative forms, materials and functionalities to address contemporary design needs. Designed for collaboration, this collection is ideal for meeting rooms and open plan environments or any public space that needs to flex for a variety of applications. The collection includes a lounge chair, stool, coffee, dining and conference room tables, as well as a unique stand-up community table with integrated storage. Storage cabinets, an expandable bookshelf system and a media cabinet are also included. The one-inch diameter steel tubing, fashioned by the latest CNC bending techniques, provides a consistent architectural element across the entire collection.
