National Training and Education Specialist
Arcadia, West-Coast based manufacturer specializing in a broad range of high quality contract seating and table products, is seeking a National Training and Education Specialist to work with our network of independent sales representatives. The primary responsibility of this position is to travel to each territory and provide training on both new and current products for the company’s two brands, Arcadia and Encore, with the overall objective to strengthen the knowledge of our sales team on an ongoing basis. Additional responsibilities include: creating and conducting regional training programs, initiating competitive research and analysis, and collaborating with the sales and marketing divisions to develop video presentations and webinar content. Qualified individuals will have a minimum of 3 years’ industry related sales experience, either as a furniture representative or at the dealer level. Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, presentation and writing skills are required. Candidate can be based anywhere in the US but major markets preferred, and travel will be approximately 30-50% of the position. Salary commensurate with experience. Required Skill Sets:

Commercial Furniture Quotation Specialist
Nevins – A commercial contract furniture manufacturer offering tables, seating, and product for collaborative spaces to the dealer and design community. We are a company known for our quality furniture as well as exceptional customer service.
The qualified applicant is responsible for processing requests for pricing and product questions via email, phone and live chat. This candidate must have experience in working with customers, understanding their requirements, expectations, products, pricing, projects, and product availability. Excellent phone and written skills are required. A design background with the ability to read and understand construction methods and materials is beneficial.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to process large volume of requests and inquiries in a timely manner.
Strong organizational skills.
Independent thinker able to process information and work independently to resolve issues, as well as work in a group environment.
Provide price quotes using price books, as well as communicating with multiple suppliers on pricing and design.
Design background desired, with the ability to interpret drawings, and understand building materials and processes needed for the fabrication of contract furniture.
Working knowledge of Microsoft including Word, Excel and Outlook as well as strong general computer and phone skills.
BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Office furniture experience is preferred.
